football manager help plz
 

hi, i would like to start off by saying that i have been searching the web for about a week to solve my problem and read a lot of forums and learnt a few things just so u know im worthy of ur help (hopefully). also if i break any rules of this site i am sorry as i dont understand fully whats allowed and whats not. i am having trouble with trying to play football manager 2006. i cant use the compatability change thing on fm.exe file properties as i dont have windows xp.

i'll start from the beggining.
1.first of all i downloaded the alcohol clone from a torrent site.
2.then i unrared the files and ended up with the mds file and i used magicISO to burn it on a cd. (only because alcohol 120% came up with an error saying 'empty disc' or summat like that)
3. i then installed the game and downloaded various programs to try and get rid of the 'please insert cd' problem.
i know the game has a safedisc 4 protection. however safedisc does not work as it says' win9x problem or i dont have the admin rights' when i try to install it.
i have probrably missed something(s) out here but my mind is so messed up by all the things i have tried i cant remember. i really want to play this game but i cant get round this problem so can sumbody plz help? thx

oh ye i understand perfectly. i respect your rules and this site infact and im sorry for braking that rule.
im not complaining or anything im just asking a question. why do people ask for a crack. those people must of downloaded it off a similar site as me. im probrably wrong but i thought that was illegal coz if u av bought the game n it broke u will take it back or something along thos line. plz help thx

Unfortunately we cant help warez users, there is a chance yes that vast majority of people here are warez users, but how do you know? People who want cracks and mini-images are people who wish to preserve their originals.

And vice versa. Its a double edged sword.


So if people helped with the warez users openly here, the owner of GCW/FF will be in serious doo doo.

Please, get an original CD/DVD. Closed/banned, forum rule #1.
As for your questions, it's not that you mustn't HAVE warez, it's just that you mustn't DISCUSS it here. If you wanna do that, I'm sure there are other forums that allow it.
