Pioneer, write speeds

I have 2 pioneer writes, a 110 and 108. I want to wright x8 media at x1, but easy media creator 9 will only let me select x4 as the slowest speed. When I use x4 media I can select x1, but x4 media is getting harder to find, so how can I burn at x1 on x8 media ???

That is strange. Have you tried Nero instead, before trying make sure you uninstall Easy Media Creator first.
