Trackmania Sunrise Extreme
I'm having problems to run the expansion of Trackmania Sunrise with an image. It works fine with the original though.
What I did with the image is use DT4 to mount it, then SFNightmare to disable the CD and then play. It goes great. But It seems this doesnt work on the expansion... any suggestions? |
well...
I quite can't imagine that you brang TMS to run with an IMAGE
because it is the (VERY OFTEN DISCUSSED) Protection called "Star Force 3" this protection is able to somehow recognize if u run the game with an image or not! The ONLY (THE ONE AND ONLY) way to run a sf3 game without the original disc is the usb method! U can run the game with your backup CD thru an external USB drive (and RMPS Emulation) that's the only way! Mini-Images don't work and there is no way to produce a NoCD Crack for SF3 (because of encrypted files) well, in Trackmania Sunrise EXTREME they updated the StarForce Protection and the USB Method was kicked as well! so now we ALL have to run our games with our originals and DON't have to ask anymore for some cracks/fixes! cYa Simon |
@ 5i1v3rStorm:
No, you are totally wrong. With "DAEMON Tools 4" (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/) and an IMAGE-file with DPM measurement you can play "StarForce 3" protected games in a Virtual Drive! The only thing is, that you still have to disable / unplug you IDE drives at the moment! In a new version oft DT4 that will come in the future this will not be necessery anymore! By the way, meanwhile there are even NO-CD/-DVD cracks for some "StarForce 3" protected games, like "Codename Panzers (phase one + two)", "Brothers in Arms - EiB", the first "Trackmania", "TOCA/DTM Race Driver 2", "Singles (part 1 + 2)", "Obscure" etc. |
WONDERFUL!
Sorry, my information were a bit older than D-Tools 4!!!! YEA I GOT IT! thx man and have fun p.s. the update to Trackmania Sunrise Extreme updates the StarForce Protection (the Starforce team won't sit in the dark while beautiful minds develop D-Tools and will have their counter-strike, I'm afraid... anyway I don't know why it doesen't run with extreme - play with your originial instead ;-) p.s. ColinMcRae Rally 2005 was succesfully unprotected from sf3 as well. the only game (and the one I had in mind) which they werent able to was splinter cell chaos theory. cu guys |
Sunrise eXtreme still
works fine.
DT 4.0 + unplugged drives + SFN 1.12 plus working TMS image. Confirmed. C U P.S. - SFCure is another method to run sf3 games from images. Use search. |
