Most wanted problem with directx

Hello

This is my 1 tread. I used D-tools to install the NFS most wanted. Ok , then enter the serial, and in the next window witch is about License Agreement there is no text in the field, but i click Yes and in the next window it says that i have a problem with Directx and i have to download it witch is not true.

I have 512 ram, geforce6200 256 ddr, Xp sp2.

I also tried Alchohol 120 same thing. So to resume the problem is that i can`t install the game.

Install from your original Discs.

branko47049 22-11-2005 03:36

Well it is not an original :)
It is a DVD with 4 virtual on it.

No, what I am saying is for you to install from the original disc, do not install from a backup disc! :rolleyes:

He bought it out a market grumpy..

Most places eastern europe do that, fire on as much games onto a dvd as they can, they just do as images and your supposed to mount them from the DVD.

Obviously they can never figure out how to run the bigger titles that are clone images or blindwrite images.

NFS-MW demo and my legit game both messed me about with needing DX9C although i have octobers build.

To fix simple explore your cd1, look for the "AutoRun.exe", right click this file and set to windows 2000 compat mode, install game, your shortcut to game will not be in windows 2000 compat mode and all is fine.

Hmm, I am not doubting you on this, I am just not aware of it?

@branko
Is this what your Disc is? Did you buy it from one of these markets and does it actually have 4 images on it?
