Newbie Question!

I know that this question is done here a thousend times, but i couldnīt find it! My english is not so good, so I would prefere to get an answer in german. I could not handle this whole mini image thing! Iīve copied battlefront2 with alkohol 120 to an image file, loaded the fixed mds file an mounted it with alkohol. before I did it I startet sr7 stop and clicked hide and closed. but thereīs always the message that the copie protection system could not be startet. so what did i wrong???

the second point is that I could find anything to make a copie of the movies.

as said It qould be perfect to get an answer in german!

thanks a lot

Sorry, but FileForums is an "Only-English"-Forum!.

Why are you using SR7stop? It's for (against) Securom7-Protection.
Battlefield2 is protected with Safedisc4.

Instructions to play without CD/DVD:
1. Install the game from your original cd/dvd
2. Update the game to latest version (atm V1.0.3)
3. download the mini-image by BLeH! from GameCopyWorld
4. Uninstall DaemonTools, Alcohol120% and all the other VirtualDrive Softwares.
5. Install Alcohol120% - during installation choose ExpertMode.
5a. Enter any name for the drivers (i took "glhbus" & "glhscsi")
6. Mount the mini-image in Alcohol120%
7. DON'T turn on the emulations in Alcohol120%
8. Start the game without inserting original cd/dvd.

THAT'S ALL !!!

Where did you read "Battlefield 2"? I can only see "Battlefront 2". AFAIK, Battlefront 2 uses S7. So why not use SR7stop? :D

Ermm... I'm totally aware of the fact that moderators are always right. Probably someone edited your posting without your knowledge? ;)

So! Now Iīm totally confused! What should I do?? :D

prollfin 22-11-2005 08:21

Depends on whether you want to play Battlefront 2 or Battlefield 2 :D

hg99 22-11-2005 08:55

As I posted! Battlefront 2 ;)

You need SR7stop.exe for Battlefront 2.

BUT! If you have installed Daemon Tools 4 then SR7stop.exe won't work, so you have to use Starforce Nightmare to disable the CD drives!!

@prollfin: You're right. I was reading Battlefield2, but it's clearly Battlefront2. I'm getting older and older and older and ..... :o

@hg99: Sorry for misreading your post. I was thinking you wrote Battlefield2. Sorry
