heavy F.E.A.R. (fear) graphic problem
 

hello,

i have got a new pc and wanted to play fear
my last pc was a 1700mhz pentium 4 with 512mb ram and a geforce 4 ti 4200
and it was playable

now i got a athlon xp 64 3700mhz+ 512mb ram and the geforce 4 ti 4200 (forceware 81.94)
now the graphic in fear turns crazy and the most textures are purple blue checkred and somtimes the enemys had no textures at all

i have tried version 1.00 and 1.02 and all was still the same...

if some one know or guess what the problem could be plz help me

Dont know how you managed to play it before since Geforce 4 cards are not supported, you need Geforce 5900 and upwards.

geforce 4 cards are enough to play fear, they listened on the back cover of the game, i play it with medium textures and max particle effects...

In any case, your update was mostly useless you are tottally bottlenecking your new juicy processor with that graphics card, get a FX5600 256mb they are cheap as chips now a day (also an extra 512mb ram wouldnt do u any harm)

next month im going to buy a geforce 6 6800...

but anyway my problem still is the graphic crash on fear, so plz help me in this case, and do not start a discuss on my system as i already said fear was running on my old system with a lower pozessor but now the graphic turns crazy

other games like call of duty 2 or quake 4 are running without any problems and the graphic-card is not overclocked

seems you need to upgrade your graphics card.

I prefer gforce 6800

this game is freak, system requirement is horror

with my configration I can only run 1024 768, about 40fps..wtf

but with may last configuration it was working geat... 1024*860 medium tetures high partikles <<<and all that with my geforce 4 ti 4200..............................
