How to burn this ??? HELP :)
 

Hello everyone

Anyone know how to burn 4,4 Gb file (one large file) on DVD5 format ?? :confused:

I cant burn any file above 4,1Gb - always when i do this when i check DVD i have file with enourmous size (about 350 Mb instead of 4,4 Gb) ?? :confused:
i used Nero and two another programs - any of them cant do this right

What is wrong ??:confused:

well first of all 350mb isn't as big as 4.4gb.. And what type of file is this and where did you get it.. If its a movie you should be able to take the original and re-image it (if you have the original) and make the file size an acceptable size to burn to a dvd (4.37gb) using a program like dvddecrypter or clonedvd2 or shrinkdvd2. What is the file extension of the file and what is the history on it. If its a downloaded image we can't help you here.

This is one large 4,25 Gb avi file. I must write it as one file on DVD5 ?? This is quite impossible !!! DVD have 4,5 Gb but if i burn one file above 4,1 gb - no matter which program i use - it burned wrong size file.

Should hold up to 4.7gb, actually.

I've always wondered why it's limited to 4.48gb?

And what's with the 350mb? I don't get it.
