Quake 4 public server patch
 

I was using this before and it was working fine, now it gets stuck on the waiting for authorization page indefinitely for me. Looking in console, it says:

sending connect to ___________ with challenge ________________
waiting for authorization

and repeats this continuously.

Anyone else getting this / using this? It's only been happening recently, before worked fine after waiting a little bit on this screen.

Works good for me.........but then again........I have the 'original' disk!

found a fix, for anyone that wants it, albeit strange it works.

during waiting for authorization screen, press alt-enter to exit fullscreen, then press again to return to full screen. Upon returning, it should connect.

Don't ask why, just do it.:)

I have found completely way to solve "waiting for authorization" problem
