Running battlefield v1.03 using backup.. HELP
 

Hey all,

I did a search for past threads but they didn't seem to help. I' am trying to run my backup of BF2 1.03 and have tried daemon with sr7/antibleh and also tried antiblaxx and none of that worked. If I install the base game no patches it will work.. but once patched it doesn't.

I believe the game uses SafeDisc. Any help would be appreciated.

Use the mini-image from BleH!. Mount with Daemon-Tools and play.

I did exactly this. It does not work with a 1.03 patched BF2 as far as I can tell. :s

What error message do you get?

Using a mini-image with BF2 v1.03 works just fine.

If you've ever been using cracked .exes in the past, that may be your problem. Either find and delete all crack files or re-install BF2, patch to v1.03 straight from a fresh install, then mount that mini-image from GCW.

This is a new install of the title so there is not cracked .exe's.

GLH: There is no error message. The BF2 logo comes up then the screen turns black, and rather then going into the game it goes back to desktop.

I' am using WinXP Pro SP 1.

Is it the same, when ou use your original dvd/cd?
It could be, that BF2 needs ServicePack2 installed on your system.

This is more than likely a problem related to your graphics card or its drivers.
Update your graphic drivers to the latest version.

It is not I can assure because the game backup works fine with v1.0. The Black screen is basically what happens even with original just before a game starts.

Anyone get BF2 running with DT4 + Bleh's image.. it is still not working for me (I enabled all emulations then closed daemon leaving emu on... started it.. doesnt work.)
