securom7 emulation in alcohol
 

this is may a stupid question but how can i enable securom7 emulation in alcohol 120% v.1.9.5(build3105)?

i cant find the option in alcohol:( :(

there is a securom emulation
but not 7... that why we need to hide the virtual cds

there is writen that i have to enable securom7 emulation.

Sr7Stop does.

It doesnt hurt to change the bus names that daemon uses, when installing it.

Also when mounting an image, goto the virtual drive properties and change the 3 headers at the top to something else.


Also!!


When mounted, close daemon from the taskbar and say yes to keep all emulation.

Run Sr7Stop, run game...


Failing that...


Install Anti-Blaxx 1.18 (this one does not have the bugs people cry about) and use that to point to the game exe, and manually select Securom and make sure you set hide entries and not delete them.

Then Run Game option within Anti-Blaxx.



Also Take away the Picture its not 56k friendly

Unfortunately none of these solutions work for the 1.01 version of the patched game. Patching does make a difference even with images.

Yeah patch is clever to various tools.

But he didnt say it was 1.01, I assumed he meant 1.00

check the other treath named Protection Matrix Path of Neo? there you will find the answer it works now for me to and i to had it patched

hey! i have the patch but i managed to get it working only by replacing the .bin tool but i think the patch is no longer affecting beacuse of that.

Its always great to see people still caring for that poor 56k people (Im one of that freaks, only difference is i have 64k, which is not much better :( )

when the screen goes up then down is that because of my rubbish graphics card or havn't i gone through the instructions properly

Sorry to say but it is more than likely a problem with your graphics card! They are considered quite old these days and wont be able to play any of the latest games.

I Installed it and it loaded but it just showed this white and black image and all the through i could hear sound aswell
