Slightly O/T PS1 games on PS2
 

We still have a couple of PS1 games and so bought a PS1 memory card in order to save PS1 games when played on PS2. However we get the following message:
"memory card not formatted, do you want to format it" however there are no instructions how to do this?

The other memory card we have gives the following message " memory card not found"

How do we save PS1 games when played on a PS2?

When it asks

"do you want to format it"

Just select yes or whatever and the PS2 will format it for you.

You need a PSX memory card in order to save PSX game saves, PS2 memory cards wont work with the PSX games.
