XBOX Live probs
 

Hi all long time no speak,

Does anyone know how to stop Live overwriting my xboxdash file, everytime my son uses my box he always manages to try and connect to live and it overwrites the file so I have to ftp again.

Any Ideas

Mmm, if he chooses it from the dashboard, then you can probably delete the xbox live xbe file that is launched (updater.xbe or something, on C or in a folder). If he chooses it in a game, then delete the "liveupdate.xbe". May require another burn if it is not on the HDD.
