hey im trying to configure the graphic settings for the game,any idea how to do that ? I am only finding a gamepad configuration utility.

Me too. It's kinda weard not allowing a user to config the graphics.

French version
 

Hello good folks,

How can I request the "crackers" to work on the French version of this game? I've installed the original on my kids' computer, and it just won't work and EA is giving me the runaround. I tried it on my work laptop, and it works fine, even though it barely meets the minimum requirements. So at least now I know the original disc is not faulty.

I have a feeling the CD-ROM protection scheme is at fault, but I can't use the existing cracked English version over my French one.

If anyone wants to take a crack at it (bad pun!), let me know if you need me to provide the executable or something.

As crackers don't visit this forum, there's not much more you can do than sit and wait. (And non-English versions may take a lot more to get cracked...) Perhaps, making a full image of the original CD might help (see the FAQ)...? Or waiting for a future official update that removes, at least, the tough part of the copy protection and leaves an easy-to-crack CD check only...? Good luck anyway!

As far as im aware there is a multi language crack for GBOF, since the european DVD has different languages all using the same exe.

Try one from gamecopyworld and see how it goes :)

And, if that doesn't work, elaborate on the "I can't use the existing cracked English version over my French one" part. ;)
