Is anyone working on a No-CD key for Civilization 4?

...or has anyone successfully got a mini image working for this title, yet?

New protection like Safedisc 4.6 and securom 7 doesn't support mini image
U need a full image 2 play

Not entirely correct :)

This new safedisc 4.60 checks the beginning of the disc, 2 points in the middle, and the end of the disc. So you gotta save to parts and 00 all the others. Then you got a mini image.

Im working on it right now, just that I need more time. I got a lot of schoolwork :(

So what I ´just wanted to say was u can't use mini images u made by the old method and so just use the full image
But I still want to know how he found out what the protection does:confused:

yeh you can,just not all games.

protections are all diffrent,and react diffrently to systems..so they do work,just certain games they dont.

infact the only game's i have found so far that doesent work by mini image (other than starforce games) is this one(not that i have tried,i have just heard) and tiger woods 2006

Serios Sam2
Quake4
Pro Evo 5
Starwars Battlefront2 (self mades)

what? i own all those games,and they are all straight mounts..

but more to the point,there is no cd cracks for all of them.

exept battlefront,which can be done by my tutorial in the other thread in minutes.

and this game works fine on my pentium 4 laptop and fine on my amd desktop

2 completley diffrent machines...also my freind has managed to get this game running over 4 pc's all diffrent spec..so my way works without doubt.

if it dont,your pc aint powerful enough or your doing something wrong.
