Fear Problems
 

I have Fear Yes another Fear Q, This is so weird i guess so i will pick everyones minds here. I install Fear patches 102 no problems and turn off the computer, Next day go dam i feel like playing it, And it comes up Please install authenticated disk. Well thats simple it is the disk i bought . So unistall it reinstall its fine again. The only thing it could be is Nero 7 or as my dvd is a burner Can someone help me before i use it as a target

I bought the game
went home
and it will not auto install on my 1st pc
Allright
no biggy
just manually setup
works fine, but when i want to launch the game, it keeps giving error screen

so
to my 2nd pc (almost same specs)
auto install WORKS, GAME works

back to PC1
I installed it manually, then i cracked it (NO DVD)
it freakin WORKS

SO
no i"m playing a cracked version of a game I bought

done that and what they said to do was bs so i will wait on a patch ;)

I guess your going to have to wait for a patch. You could try making an Image of the DVD?, I also heard that Securom Stop or Anti-blaxx (USE AT OWN RISK) is also needed if you emulate the dvd.

Also, did anyone else notice that when I tried to download the FEAR 1.01 +4 Trainer, I got a virus or trojan or something like that. (Now I'm glad to have Norton Anti-Virus, got rid of it). I mean, how could a trainer be 4kb's anyway. (Sry for the offtopic, but I didn't feel like starting a new thread.

Kinda posting this around .. to get an answer ...

hey guys, tried surching for this problem, came up with nothing .. so im hoping someone can help me.

I installed fear, got it all working .. used a no cd crack, and all .. but when i go to load the game, its black. I can hear music, and see the cursior when i move it .. but thats all.

Read the read me file to see what was up, unintalled the codex i had, updated my driver. Did almost everything that i thought you could do. Still not working.

Any ideas?
