NFS: Underground 2 US cars patch
 

hi,
I have the european version so I don't have the civic or RSX. I downloaded the patch but now when I start the game the car isn't in the game. What is the cause of this?

maybe you started the wrong exe file.

no, thats not it. I had to place the maps of the cars in de cars map. but with the other cars the file name is blue. could that has something to do with it?

This had nothing to do with a official NFSU 2 support. A patch has been placed on gamecopyworld including the US cars. Now there was no 'readme' file within, so here we can share our solutions. Isn't that the meaning of a forum? No offensice at all, but I just have the same problem. The patch isn't working :p

Edit: I found a way to solve the problem, but I need the help of someone who has the civic and Rsx in this game (north america?)

Ok, I found it. Here we go:

- Uninstall NFSU 2 (optional)
- Download the US car files
- Download the crack for version 1.2
- Delete all the previous save game files (optional)
- Install NFSU 2 (only if you uninstalled the game)
- Install the update 1.2
- Copy the car files in to the right map
- Replace originale SPEED2.exe with crack
- play game

Reason it didn't work: THe US car files are not on the EURO version cd. So teh game can not refer to it. That's the reason to use a crack.
Remember: Civic is choosable at the beginning, the RSX after winning URL 6,
the 106 and the corsa are not playable!!!! They are automaticly replaced by the US cars.
