FileForums - GTa san andreas problem

i played gta when it first came out, i played about to og loc's rapper career success, and had to reboot, and i found out there was cheats, and got bored of using cheats, and ended up corrupting my file. So i stopped, and i dl again to play

i've been getting crashes, such as computer restarts, getting blue screens, i have fx5200 128mb ram nvidia, if the graphic is the prblem, i had geforce 4 mx440 64mg ram, and was fine. I tried applting the 1.01 patch if it will fix my problem but the patch didnt work... saying dont have the original gta exe yata yata..please help..
