graphics problem
 

i have a very strange problem with my xbox,for some reason when i play midnight club 3 or moto gp the games load perfectly and all the menus are great but as soon as you start a race the graphics go all pixely and flickering when you accelerate and if you stop the graphics are perfect.Both games are original not backups.All my other games still work perfectly, originals and backups.Any ideas.

Hmm, PC's do this when there is too much dust cluttered around the GPU. Have you tried cleaning the inside of the xbox? I think the games are small, try playing one off the HDD and if the problem goes away, then it could be the IDE cable..

opened the xbox up but it is very clean no dust.I installed the games to h/d and also fitted a new ide lead and same problem.Also the graphics are now affected on forza motorsort the menu screen graphics are that bad it looks like the matrix code on the screen.I think it must be something terminal.

The ide could still be the problem, I forgot that it connects to the HDD last, not first. Installing to the HDD just insured that it is not a reading problem.

However, I think that it's probably the gpu :(
