Cold War

Guys cold war has Star Force Protection..so shud we just close the chapter and move on? :(
Or is there hope

I have been trying for 5 days to get it working.
About the only way i have found so far is use the orginal disc or wait for the new version of daemon tools. (version 4)
Which is due to be released this month.

I have tried using sfcure and sfnightmare but nothing has worked

good luck

Maybe Baby

Look at Area 51 and Brothers in Arms:Earned in Blood. They cracked the Starforce-protecion within days.On the other hand,Splinter Cell 3,Bet On Soldier,Chrome Specforce....could be that we get a no-cd patch this evening, could be that we never get one.The past showed that everything is possibe.

I expect the worst, then the surprise is bigger :D

@prollfin
Meanwhile i bought the game for my Xbox ;) !!! But my oldest child bought the game for her PC but the CDs wonŽt hold long because her little sister and also her little brother will get the CDs and then sheŽll need a safty-backup :p and for that i still hope that someone will find a solution.
Buy good games EVERYTIME but make saftycopys also and thats why no-cd/dvd-"patches" are realy helpful!!!
see you
Madsteve

Ok here one solution if you have image files.

Burn with Alcohol 120, at 4x speed, use securom NEW profile.
Make sure RAW DAO is selected.
(DO NOT USE SECUROM NEW 4/5, MAKE SURE RMPS IS OFF)

When asked, select "Keep TOC as on source cd, write until end of image file"

Then install your game and play.:D

CanŽt Burn Like NFO

I've try to burn cd like NFO but always failed an error ocurre at 75%.
Does anyone know why?

Thanks

leezer3 30-10-2005 02:33

Could that be because you downloaded it ;)
Here's a hint- Format youre hard-disks, and go out & buy the game. It will then work fine :D

A Very Useful "CROMO"

leezer3 YOU ARE SO FUNNY, INTELLIGENT AND VERY USEFUL
NEXT TIME, BECAUSE YOU THINK SO HARD, JUST GO OUT AND GET SOME AIR TO REFRESH YOU LITTLE BRAIN.

ONCE MORE THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SUCH EFFORT.

Tibol With Love...

Joe Forster/STA 02-11-2005 05:27

@Tibol: If burning the CD/DVD stops then, perhaps, your CD/DVD burner is the one that needs some fresh air, to cool down...?
