Anti-Blaxx???
 

Hello everyone I don't know how or what I should do to run games without the dvd in the drive. Does anyone know a step by step guide on using this program? F.E.A.R. is the game that I can't seem to get working. Thanks again..............

step by step guide to running f.e.a.r without a disc.

1.install game
2.make or download a mini image (think there is one on this site)
3.download virtual-cd hide,and use it (on this site)
4.right click the f.e.a.r shortcut and select in the compatiability tab 'run in windows 2000' compatiabiltiy mode.
5.double click the shortcut and play.

this has worked for me and about 5 other friends.

if it dont work for you,you have done something wrong,or you do not have a legit copy of the game.

forget about that dirty nasty program called anti blaxx,dont install it,dont bother with it atall.

The topic began yesterday but the game was released today, weird...lol...
You can use anti-blaxx but sometimes that dosn't work to well. I've used it and it should work fine with FEAR which I got TODAY from the STORE. Also securom stop also worked for me. Never heard of the program you have but If it's like anti-blaxx/securom stop, it should work.
I didn't even have to change my compatibility mode on the shortcut.

I always get games the first day they come out. I guess I a little bit more than an avid gamer. lol...

for the 12,000,000,000,000 time i bought the game on the 14th of october 2005 from game in the high street.

it has been on play.com since the 13th.

i always get my games two days before official release because where i buy my games they sell it
a) one day earlier
b) for "special" customers (me since i worked there half a year) they often sell it 2 days earlier...and 10€ cheaper :D

yeh i used to have a store like that in the old town i used to live in,they used to have the games sometimes a week early,and cos the manager was a school friend of mine(school friends going back 15 years lol) i would get it as soon as they had it in stock.

i remmember buying my dreamcast a week early and getting it cheaper to :P i still have it now lol :P

Fear works with the Windows 2000 trick
 

I also got fear to run by using the windows 2000 mode trick. I have the original and even the original DVD wont play without the comp switch trick. Securrom refuses to believe that I have bought the game ($39 at circut city on the 16th, 2 days early, so no tech support for me)

Uploaded Cracked exe to GCW earlyer today. I have no idea who made it, it came with an nfo and of course I included that. The nfo just said to copy the exe and enjoy the game, lol.

check this thread. this is a no dvd not a fixed exe.

cracked, no-cd, no-dvd, w/e, all the same to me. I guess maby something makes them different. It's a no-dvd alright, i guess i lied.
