Black & White 2
 

I have installed the game using daemon tools and downloaded Black & White 2 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed Image #3 and followed the instructions:

Install the game - Full Installation.
Mount the BW2_DISC1_MINI-IMAGE.MDS CD-Image using Daemon Tools v3.47 or the latest Alcohol 120%.
Play the Game without the CD

When I mount the BW2_DISC1_MINI-IMAGE.MDS CD-Image I get a window open up with all the Disc 1 files in it

I then close this and try to run the shortcut B&W2 startup exe and get a message 'CD/DVD emulation software has been detected - please diable all CD/DVD emulation software and restart program'

When I disable daemon tools this of course unmounts the virtual drive that the BW2_DISC1_MINI-IMAGE.MDS CD-Image file was on and when I try and run the startup exe again it comes up with the normal 'you need to load disk' error - you know what I mean

Anyways, it doesn't start up the game - what am I doing wrong - please help

Use the SEARCH button; that's forum rule #4!

@verjen5: You have to change the driver names of Alcohol120 and/or DaemonTools.

If you have anything like AnyDVD also running disable that, as some games see AnyDVD as a threat believe it or not :P
