Nhl 06, 2.0

Hi, I am not sure where I should post this, but EA has released a patch for NHL, and the old crack aint working anymore (if the game is updated). NHL cant be played online, if the game isn't patches, so I'm asking nicely someone engineer to crack the game.

Thank you.

Nhl 06 can still be played online using your original disc!

_pulla 13-10-2005 05:33

Yea, I know, I have the original disc, but I have no dvd-drive, so when I bought the game, I went to my friend's place and burned the files on a CD, now I have the original files and the original CD-key, but still I cant play without crack bcos of I only have a copy of the original DVD (yea I also have the original disc, but that doesnt matter cos I aint got dvd-drive) ......

Any ideas...?

GLH 13-10-2005 06:01

I can't understand why people buying game for 40-50 Euros, instead of a DVD-Drive for 18 Euros ??????????????????????????????????????????????

turdlet 13-10-2005 08:25

well most want a burning dvd drive when they buy one, but those cost 50 bucks or under also.. so yeah.

admins sorry i was bit retarded and submitted a mini-image i downloaded from gamecopyworld since i read the both exisiting ones were cracks, while other was that very same mini-image. Retarded apologies.

However, that mini-image on gamecopyworld works with patch #2 (EU version atleast) so get that and mount it with daemon tools!

_pulla 13-10-2005 11:24

Yea, I should had bought a DVD-drive 1st, but I looked at NHL's homepages, and there's a picture of the box of nhl 06, and on the right corner it clearly says PC CD. Of course I should had checked in the shop that its for CD, not DVD.

But, anyway, I have been trying to mount the mini-image, but I really dont know, how I should do it. And yes, I've been Googling for help, I just keep getting thousands of error...... :\

Anyway, thank you for very very helpful answer turdlet!

You would need to download either Alcohol 120% or DAEMON Tools and install.
DAEMON tools is probably your best bet, it's free and easy to work with. After you install deamon you'll have an icon for it in your system tray. You just need to right click on it to bring up the options for it. I think it gives you just 1 virtual drive to start off with but under that drive listed you would chose mount image and point it to where ever you have the mini-image extracted to and i would also turn on all emulations in the options menu to. When i first started up the game after i mounted the mini-image it gave me an error to insert the disc but you can click on ignore and it should boot up and not give you that error again.
I'm not sure if the mini-image works with the dvd version of the game? I only have the cd version, couldn't find the dvd version to buy anywhere here in the US. I hope that is enough info to you get going, daemon can be downloaded from gamecopyworld site, just do a search or look in the cd/dvd drive tools section? I think. But good luck and Go Sabres!!! lol

Ellilion 13-10-2005 13:21

Doh, the daemon tools link is listed right on the same page as the mini-image is..... ;)

turdlet 13-10-2005 16:37

that might be the case, there might be problems with two of those programs at same time. (Never tried but i think someone said so, correct if i was wrong.)

I have safedisc emulation on in my daemon tools and i just mount the MDS, not the mdf because it for some reason does make a difference in this case.

_pulla 14-10-2005 00:26

Yep, I have been trying to mount the image with Daemon, but when I try to mount the nhl.mds, it says UNABLE TO MOUNT IMAGE, FILE NOT ACCESSABLE.

I tried to mount .mdf, and that worked, but when the game was tryed to launch, it said "insert the correct dvd.."

turdlet 14-10-2005 03:33

do you have more then one of those programs or just daemon tools?
