DVD X Copy ~ Advice Needed
I purchased a legal copy of "DVD X Copy Gold" which has worked better than expected for personal backups of DVD's.
When installing it required internet authorization to complete the setup. My system crashed recently, was re-built, but in the interium, 321Studios went belly up. The cause for going out of business was losing a legal battle with the movie industry forcing them to stop new sales, but existing software owners could continue to use the software for personal backups. My purchased copy will no longer complete the install because the vendors website no longer exists. Has anyone figured out a way to get the install resolved, or knows some way of contacting the company for resolution. Any advice offered is appreciated... Thanx... Pat~scat |

I dont remember exactly but............... Disconnect from the internet when installing the software. If it asked which method to register the product, I am thinking with internet disconnected, use the "phone" method. Just click cancel on phone method and continue the the software install. After 321 Studio's when out of business in St Louis, they stated NO SUPPORT for their products. |
