Maybe he is using it for several legal reasons. Downloading free movie trailers, game trailers, episodes of free shows, homemade videos and much more.
Trust me bittorrent offers a lot more than just *peep* and *peep*...

Note: Censored to protect noobs from *peep*.

Hence why I was asking, but now youve given him the answer lol :P

Wizzo 10-10-2005 03:05

its irrelevant what i use it for. you have two simple choices;

are you able to help?

do you want to help?

DABhand 10-10-2005 03:28

It does matter what your using it for.

I suggest reading the rules before answering

Hehe I know, I kinda figured out what he is using it for now when he says we have to choose between help or not.... :D

@Wizzo...
Tell us what you do with it or we won't help... Simple as that.

Mmmh, using a torrent client isn't illegal. If you want him to answer that "what do you wanna use it for" question, you could also ask various other users of alcohol, clonecd/dvd, daemon tools, anydvd, kazaa, emule,etc. what they want to use those progs for.
You can surely download illegal stuff with azureus, but I think he doesn't have to tell us, why, where, and what for he wants to use it.

Nevertheless, staying anonymous on p2p is not really possible. You can make it harder to follow your traces by using proxies, etc. but if you are paranoid, you should simply not use it.

The Onion Router:

Pretty sweet **** eh?? Too bad some wiz divined a way to trace it. I'm not a networking freak, but I basically understood that you identify if the comp ure tracing is using tor, take a look at the TTL fields, and pretty much backtrace.

Anyways, it just like any other proxy... just easier to configure.

thanks for the help Monty Burns and rendari.

if you look at their past posts some people seem to spend their time going through these forums looking for a question what might hint in the slightest way to be against the rules so that they can slate them.

be honest when is the last time you have seen natural light or actually touched a pair of breasts instead of looking at them on your monitor?

Normally, I am a "warez kid" hunter too, and I do pay respect to all the dudes doing the same on this board, you should take that into account wizzo.
In this case I don't share their opinion, but I do share their opinion in 99,9 % in other "cases". Be polite, friendly and respectful to other members and "obey" the rules of this board and you will have a good time here.
