Black and White 2 Crack/Emulation Discussion
 

Havent seen to much info on any boards about this game so i thought i would start a thread.

Read the rules, especially rule #6...

He didnt request a crack... only started a thread up about the game & its crackability...

I know its a bit early to start a thread but i thought it might be helpfull

If big title, then = SDAPI
SDAPI = No crack soon

I also think there are a lot of custom checking implented into the protection. So something like Safedisc+Custom sounds reasonable as protection...

Yeah, except its not custom, its part of safedisc, and developers can choose to implement it in the source code.

When is the release date scheduled for that game anyway? I know its soon but I haven't seen when exactly.

If he didnt want to know about a possible crack for the game (when released) then why is the title of the thread "Black and White Crack"

Since its nothing to do with backups anyways this thread, it should be moved to general I do believe :P

Changed the title of this thread to better reflect its purpose. Its meant only to discuss new information about the games backup progress. No demands simply sharing information. BW 2 is semi high profile so im sure it will prove to be a challange to the community.

Well, if EA will use a Safedisk Protection for this, the good old Mini-Image will do the work. We'll see which Protection it has when it's out.
Which will be tomorrow : Global Release on October 7th 2005 ! :)

What I meant with custom is that there is more into it than only Safedisc.
Just like XIII had, it had tages and then it had some custom checks throughout the game. Those checks were implented to complement the tages protection.
I guess the same applies to Black&White 2. Safedisc 4 with the most of everything possible AND on top of that some custom checks added to make it even more safe.

Remember that GTA3/VC also has custom triggers. Like GTA3 that had the little "corrupt savegames if protection removed" thingie...

I don't think so.
Just wait until the game is released. Then, if one of the legal owner of the game have problems to make a backup he/she can start a thread.
Or if a crack is released and there are problems with it, then it's time to start a thread.
