Considering getting a premod
 

Hi ppl,

as the title says, i'm considering getting a premod ps from : http://www.gameworlddirect.co.uk/

Ideally it would have the following options:

Base - Brand New PS2 Slimline
Fit Blank PCB - Matrix Infinity
HD Connect (with case) - yes
IDE Hard Drive - yes
HDLoader - yes

I've emailed them and they have confirmed this setup is possible, my questions are:

-they say the fit a blank PCB (Matrix Infinity) - So does this mean that out of the box I'll need to flash the thing before it'll work? Any info on this from anyone who's used the service?

-I have been informed that i'll need to use the mc exploit to use the HDLoader software they supply - is this the case, is so can you direct me to clear instructions on how to make this work and get HDL on my mem card.

with hd connect, I assume i need both? could anyone clarify the method needed to use the hdd , hdloader and hdconnect in the above example.

All Matrix infinity chips will need to be flashed with a hacked firmware to load backups. As far as the MC exploit just use the search button. This has been covered many times in the past so you shouldnt have any problems finding what you need ;)
