make mpegs play on dvd player??
 

HI, i have a load of mpegs that i want to watch on my dvd player.Trouble is my dvd player doesnt play mpegs. is there anyway i can watch them by burning the mpeg clips as some other files etc??
what program do i use? is ther any other solution??

If your player is capable of playing vcd/svcd you may simply create vcds from your mpegs with nero.

If you do not like it you have to convert your mpeg to dvd compliant mpeg2 format first.

1. dvd is always mpeg ?! (better: mpeg2)
2. vcd/svcd too... ;)
Soooooo if youre dvd player cant play mpeg WHAT can he play ?

BTW, Monty, you can do DVDs with Nero, too. Also from avi, wmv, ...

DVD compliant is only mpeg 2, not mpeg


Some players can play them, others can't. They have to be burned as vcd or svcd first.
