What chips do automatic PAL->NTSC conversions? Do they work well?

This is one of the features that I really wish I had. Do any of you have it? Are there any issues, or can you pop a PAL disk into a NTSC machine and just go?

Woah, really? I thaught you would have to manually choose to force NTSC on a PAL game. It automatically can tell if its PAL, adjust the colors, refresh rate, and the X/Y axis of the video? For both PS1 and PS2?

Impressive... now I see why peopel recommend this chip.

Ahem...

but converting NTSC to PAL gives a smaller picture... (640x480 inside a 768x576)... I have no idea what you get for doing the opposite but chances are you get a cropped image.

the DMS4 EZi works fine for me. Easty to install too.
