You have a game which you want to play via LAN on several computers and you don't wanna install it on each of them ? |
yes exactly ... just i wanna copy the game folder on each PC & enjoy playing the games "winning eleven 8 , Prince of persia warrior within , C&C zero hour ... etc" instead of install each game on each computer
thnx in advance |
Although there is a method, I don't think you're actually allowed to do that, as I guess that you mean you want to play the same copy on more than one PCs at the same time, which from what I believe is breaking the games' EULA. Check it before you try anything like that. If the EULA does not allow it, we can't help you.

sorry but what u mean by games' EULA ??
another question ... is there a method to merge more .reg in 1 file ? thnx alot |
'EULA" is the End Users License Agreement. Its the license you would just click 'I agree' to when installing a game. Take the time to read it when next installing a game and you will be quite surprised what you can and cant do!

Besides most games wont work that way, sure you could network and share a folder etc, but the files wont be local and the game will look for localised files. Therefor it will ask for the cd anyways even with a no-cd crack.

Hossam, your EULA question has been answered. Taking it that I'm not helping you to do anything that brakes that agreement, I don't think there's any automated way to merge REG files, although just googling those last three words might come up with something nice. I'm too bored to do it anyway. The two ways I'm using when I want to merge REG files are:
- Copy-paste from one REG to another (duh...) - Using ISTool, I create an empty script, then go to the Registry section, Import all REGs, and then extract them to one file And DABHand, I think that what he meant in his first post is how to make custom setup packages for his already installed games that contain the needed registry entries. So Hossam, gimme a game that allows that in its EULA, and I'll be more than glad to tell you how I've made custom setups like that for months now... And no, they weren't meant for LAN installation, but it was more like my favorite CD-to-DVD method... ...and, I have to admit it, I hate InstallShield! I mean it's slow, it's full of bugs, it's crappy, why do companies use it!? Is it too much of a fuss to create an Inno Setup script with ISTool? Or will the installations look too "unprofessional"? Anyway, I'm getting off-topic here... Somebody stop me. |
