Ntsc to pal problem
 

Hi, im new to these forums, so Hello All!
I have a pal TV and a Pal ps2 slimline. my tv supports ntsc but dont show it in colour on my tv, so i bought a ntsc to pal convertor. it has a red white and yellow output on it and a rf out. im using clock tower 3's ntsc test. it comes out in colour with the convertor. but now, even in pal, white comes out pink!
is there anything i can do?. i've changed the colour settings on my tv, but no luck.
the ps2 startup screen. the words in the middle come out pink, when the games loads and a big Playstation2 appears, its in pink. but every other colour is fine.

EDIT : I've been playing the snes-station today, playing NTSC snes games on my PAL ps2 (current setup is magic switch with magic swap disks 3.6).
I noticied that the pink sometimes wasn't pink, but white, whereas not five minutes later, it will be pink again. its like... the pink is switching on and off?..
finding this very weird indeed...
