Any flight trainers for BF2 (mods)
 

I will admit, I haven't tried flying yet in BF2, but in BF and BF:V, I had trouble flying. Yes, I could fly around in circles and stuff, but to actually bomb something on the ground was impossible for me. And flying helicopters, well that was kind of futile as well. I drive a mean tank and do pretty well on foot, but in the air, I might as well have a seizure or something because I am about that effective.

I even had a friend standing on a runway strip firing his gun at me to help sight him and and still couldn't bomb him. So is there any mod or anything out there to help train idiots like me how to fly?

Learn and learn, eventually you will get better, try turning down the sensitivity of the mouse in options to help you fly the plane better.

Also dont ask for trainer for MP playing, its considered very bad amongst others.

I wasn't asking for any kind of program to use against others. I was wondering if there was some sort of "trainer" type program, more like a tutorial on the how to's of flying and weapon usage.

Frankly, I am a bit surprised that the game didn't offer something like that as many games of this genre do. Kind of like the game Americas Army or whatever it is called. You have to go through a boot camp first before you play the game. Thought that was kind of cool.

I haven't tried it yet: Just open a lan game and fly the plane/helicopter. There are no bots in Lan play and if you the only player in the LAN, noone can shoot you.;)

I think this will let you get better.

Any 'Trainers' for BF2 would probably be considered 'hacks' by Punkbuster and you would run the risk of getting your CD-Key banned.

I understand his post, that he want to learn "How to fly".

I hear you. A mod that does pre-planned flight paths on "rails" would be a great training mod. Mutant bombing 'aimbots' would 'help' to fly and kill land base targets would also fit his bill. A real 'mod' that does flight training would probably be safe. But a 'trainer' that graphically helps shoot something will be a dangerous mod to play with in regards to PB.

That is what I'd be looking for. A single player "mod" that gave timing tips, etc. on flying the different aircraft. A great pilot in BF is something to be feared.

Planes are all similar in control, move quickly and you will have a greater risk of stalling the engine..

So move precise and slowly dont over exagerate your direction or you will go into a flat spin.

Just take your time moving minute movements and soon you will be able to control the plane comfortably and safely.
