passwords

Are there any programs that will allow you to see the passwords you use in a web site?

For example, if I had an email acount and forgot my password, but I had it stored to log me in whenver I visited the site, and I go back there and only m my user name is there and is asking me for my password again and I can't remember it.

I had a program that allowed me to see every password used on my PC for any website, I forgot the name of it and I'm having a hard time finding it. Anyone have any ideas?

You clowns :p

I can't use the forgot "password link" because the email account it will be sent to is disabled. I meant a program that let's you see EVERY password used for every website (for which you still have cookies for) that you have visited and entered a password for.

I hope that's clear enough. :)

You dont have to get an email sent, you just need your secret question answer and other relevant information and you can change the password without the need of an email :)

The account is disabled cuz I haven't used it since last year. That and I can't remember what my answer to my question is (again, I haven't touched this account in a year). :(

The password I need is really for a forum. But the forum sends the password to my email (the account I haven't touched in a year) which I can't access. But when I go to the forum, it has my user name and "remember me" clicked, but not the password cuz I haven't visited in so long. It's because of situatuions like this that I had that program that allowed to see what passwords I had used for the sites I visited.

Any alternatives?

If the pw was stored in a cookie on your hd and it is still there, the pw should popup as soon as you enter a valid username.
Chances are rare that the pw is still on your hd, if it doesn't.

Anyway, there are various tools (Remote pw stealer e.g.), which are capable of retrieving forgotten passwords. Just google for them. And do not misuse !
