MotoGP 3 image file won't run, NOW RUNNING

I have used the mini image on gamecopyworld with the virtual cd hide activated but when I go to run the game I get this message

"A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED."

This also happened to me when I first installed the game and tried to play it with the original cd as well, I got the same message. I didn't know what caused it but suspected it may have had something to do with using virtual drives or something to get around the securom 7 protection so I disabled my virtual drives and deleted some programs and then reinstalled the game to my C: drive. (the first couple of times I installed to my H: drive and this time it worked, so I've been playing with the original whilst waiting for a crack.
Well today it came out :D and I used the (image file) and now I'm back to getting that message.
Does anyone have any idea why I keep getting this message or if you have some ideas to try I would really appreciate it, my original won't last long with my kids.
thanx 4 any help in advance.

***********IT'S WORKING NOW********************

Well people, I'm happy to say I've got it running now with a working backup disc which works on the only two drives I have at the moment.

A Lite-on DVDRW SOHW-1693S (which I wrote disc with)
LG CD-RW CED-8080B

The only problem is that at the moment I have to use the backup disc to play the game, it's the only way I can beat the CD check. I know it's a pain in the arse having to use a disc at all but at least it won't ruin your original.

With the method use below (twinpeaks method) it worked on my machine first time up but I had to do a few things to get it working on my other machine.
Using a combination of a couple of ideas from the replies I got to this post I got it to work on my other machine.

Firstly creating backup with twinpeaks method mentioned (you may want to experiment with reading and writing speeds with this method but it definately works).

Secondly, if you've used the mini image posted on GCW with virtual hide CD then you have to make sure that the CD path in the Registry is showing your optical drive and not your daemon tools virtual drive.

Lastly, you have to change the motogp.exe files (in game directory) compatibility to Windows 2000.
As I have said, On the machine I burnt copy with it worked straight away but you may have to use the second method to get it working on another machine. Unless maybe you burn another copy (using twinpeaks) on the second machine then the copy may work perfectly like on the other machine.
Anyway like I said it won't help the lazy person in us all but at least you won't damage your original.

I'd like to thank everyone that replied to this post, it helped to read all the ideas and Philamber at cdfreaks forum for the securom 7 twinpeaks method below.

I didn't use that Fixed Image, so I can't help you with your problem, but I would really like to know why there's still no NO-CD-CRACK for that game!?
I had created an Image of the CD some days ago using "GameJack 5 (5.0.3.6)", but when I put this Image into a Virtual Drive, the game told me "Emulation software found!"

I think it's similar to the "Emulation-programm found. Game will not start."-message.

Well it's not exactly the same: "a required security module..." appears when you have hidden virtual drives.

The solution is rather easy.
Just right click the motogp.exe file and set it to run in compatibility mode: windows 2000.
Then use virtualcdhide and mount the image as before. ;)
Don't forget to close Anydvd if it's running.

I did everything you said but when i run the motogp.exe file it says "original disc canīt be found or authentified"
Can you please help me?

halfluke 10-09-2005 07:24

well, I receive that kind of message if I forget to mount the image.
Otherwise, it could mean that your mds+mdf are not good.

Well i got the mds-mdf in GameCopyWorld...
I tried it all again but it still wants the original cd.
Could it be a problem with Daemon?
I donīt know what could it be!

Did you try re-installing daemon tools and re-mounting the image?

Yes. My Daemon works fine with other games mini-images.
Could it be a problem with the GameCopyWorld mini-image?

Got exactly the same problem, getting the message

"A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED."

Tried setting the compat mode to windows2000 but still get the same message.

Now got past this problem, i removed antiblaxx and it sorted out this message, only problem now is I get the message
"Orginal disk could not be found or authenticated"

This is what I did to get the mini image from GCW to work, rename it to the same volume name as the copy(of original)/original image etc you installed with. ie MotoGPURT3.mds/mdf

Run Anti-Blax with settings as per image below.

You may need the special 'patched' Anti-Blax due to blacklisting.

I have this if needed, but it's too big to upload here(204Kb).

We have the same problem here...."A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED."
Two PC`s - and the same message, even if we do everythink, what henry and halfluke sad .... I think we better wait for a cracked exe or a better image ......

Thanks

henry 10-09-2005 16:03

Try the patched Anti-Blax.exe, just overwrite the original in the installed folder.

rar pass = fileforums

Hope this isn't against the rules BTW.
