Sacred (+ Plus) difficulty setting
 

I would like to change the difficulty setting to the hardest possible without having to go through the entire game twice.

I'm guessing there is some place that saves the status of the player in terms of times the game was completed.

Does anyone have a clue has to how to change it so that one could play the game in the most difficult level possible (even if it means being level 1).

You do realize that you will get your ass handed to you even with the easiest opponents... thats if you manage to skip the difficulties, and anyway it doesn't take too long to pass the game the second time around, i think that if you at a high enough level you automatically get to join different difficulty settings, try building your character up online.
