battlefield 2 strange bug
 

Hi everybody,I just downloaded the demo version of battlefield 2 but when I run the game it starts,loads the textures and when I try to enter the game choosing the wepons and hitting "done" it returns back to the wepons selection.Can you help me?before buying the game I would like to try it. :confused:

you were doing well before you said 'i would like to try the game before buying it....' i know what that means, the mods know what that means, i guess you didnt read the rules.... 'try before buy' isnt an option unless a demo exists and i dont think one does (correct me if im wrong)

Did you choose a spawn point on the map ? if you don't the game will take you back to where you say.

There is a downloadable demo for those that are not aware !

I was merely clarifying that a demo is available.

Consider your self corrected, there has been a demo available since at least the 11 June this year.

I downloaded and tried it myself, before committing to buy it.
That's what 'Try before you buy' means.

Perhaps if you give us your system specs, we may be able to throw some light on the problem.
And whether you are trying to a play single or multi-player game.

There are several other large forums for BF2 support as Talus has pointed out. TotalBF2 and planet battlefield have that pretty well covered. This forum is specifically about no-cd's and fixed-exe's.

sounds to me like lots of ppl above me have suggested the answer - he's simply not selecting a spawn point!!

well,it looks like i didn't select the spawn point... :rolleyes: In regard for not posting in the right forum let's say that I have a particular kind of "demo", the "fullversion" one,so I thought that there was something wrong whith the no cd patch. :D
