But how can i buy it online ?
I havent got c/c
Can i buy via PayPal without c/c ?

Save your money and get a proper no-swap modchip fitted. You won't regret it - even if it takes you a few months extra to save. :cool:

i agree with lufcfan 100% i baught those lil swap discs for my brothers ps2 and it is the biggest waste of money i have ever made but now hes 14 i have baught him a proper modchip

i dont understand all the negativity towards swap magic?
Ive had mine for eons and ive never had a problem with it. My ps2 works fine, as good as before the swap was used. all my backups work fine so im confused.
I know mod chips are the way forward (i will be in touch with lufcfan about fitting one for me) but as a introduction mod chip i think its quite good and simple to use.
it also does'nt interfere with your waranty.(if you use swipe card)
So why all the negativity?

Probably because they do not work with all games. Some backups require patching and the slide card will eventually destroy the tray eject.

They can't install mod-chips :(
So i need some mod-chip and i must install all by my own :)

u can buy pre-modded playstation 2's. with the chip already in them!

the cost a bomb thow premodded, are there any members near blu ray who would fit a chip for him?

You don't need to have any PS2 expert to install a modchip.
What you need is someone that knows how to solder well.
I'm sure that there are many people around you that work in places where people do alot of soldering and i'm sure that such people would be able to do the modchip installation if you give them the schematics.
I did the same thing and the woman that did my soldering didn't even know what she was doing, all she knew was that she got a large board and a small board and that she soldered some contacts from the small board to places on the large board. :D

However, the PS2 is small scale soldering work, so don't try and find the nearest have-a-go-joe who hasn't done anything on a really small scale before...

I've never been a big fan of DMS chips so i have never installed one of these Blu-ray. Not flaming DMS, this is just my preference :) . Most of the chip clips i have tried to use in the past were a pain in the arse :) . Maybe Spedmetal, Lufcfan or someone else can tell you more about this chip. If it was me i would keep searching for a installer.
