Hard drive question, when you are all out of CDRs...
 

Im fresh out of blank CDs and im broke :(

I have the ps2 hd formatted with a few game images on it, in my pc as a slave.

I also have a matrix infinity modchip with the 1.54 bios.

I want to play the games loaded on my HD, but i need a hdloading program first.

And the only way to install them it seems, is via cd :(

Sad faces abound.

The matrix infinity lets you boots apps from the HD, and I have the elf file id like to boot from.

But what program do i use to copy it to the pc?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, I have a DEEP burning desire to play this game.

Hmmm I think you need to get some cash then purchase some CD-R's. I havent looked into it but you might be able to boot HDL from the HDD I'm not sure if you can install HDL to the HDD with winhiip but you can ask snake2 I believe he did it.

I found one used, beatup blank cd buried in a pile of coasters, so all is well.

I just burned the hdadvance .elf into the dev2install disc and installed it onto my HDD for DEV2 mode.

Now the ps2 boots right up into hdadvance without a cd :)

But it seems the elf version doesnt run games that the full cd version does :(

Oh well, god of war works, and makes all the soldering and configuring well worth it! (which pics of your work made much easier BTW thanks!)
