Will the new Xbox 360 play Xbox games?
 

I've read very little about it and was just wondering if anyone knows forforsure wether or not the new system is going to be able to run the old games straight out.

Only some select titles will be able to run the XBOX360

But only at first. MS has put a lot of money into making the system backwards compatible (creating an emulator, paying royalties to nvidia...etc), however, it doesn't seem to be putting money into testing every game before launch.

There will be new patches for xbox games released for download via xbox live, and with their "silver" package, you don't have to buy xbl to get them. Eventually, according to MS, they hope to have every game running on the console (after launch).

i am really looking foward.. to it..
