Clone Dvd error - Faild to copy the DVD-video, please clean the source disc or close

Please HELP before i fullfill this overwhelming urge to stand up & throw my PC out'a the window!

Ok now im a little calmer, I am unable to copy a DVD!

I used "DVD Decrypter version 3.5.4.0" which was sucsessful!
Next I tried using "Clone DVD version 3.5.9.0" And this is where the fun begins, After selecting the DVD from my hard drive, everything looks fine but as soon as I start the process I instantly get the following error:

"Faild to copy the DVD-video, please clean the source disc or close some other programme"

I am unable to get past this point, also note I have disabled all firewalls etc.

Please, please please dear readers save my sanity.

Cheers

Something to try...

Sometimes I have trouble with Clone DVD 2; when I am actually using it to burn the DVD it occasionally acts up and gives me the same message. You know how there are three options on Clone DVD 2? Try the one that just creates a new DVD video file, not the one that writes it too. Once you have created a new (and shrunk) DVD file, you should be able to burn it using the writer option on Clone DVD 2 or some other writing program (if you own one).
Also...DVD Shrink is a freeware program that will do the job as well, but it will not do the burning all by itself like Clone DVD 2 does. Good luck.

I only use CloneDVD to 'read' the DVD (I also have 'AnyDVD' running) but I use 'Nero' to write the new DVD. I find this to be the best combination. Sure you have to purchase the above mentioned programs but it never fails for me.
I too have had some problems and errors using CloneDVD to do the writing. ;)
Using CloneDVD, when the reading stops and the little message comes up to insert the blank media, just choose cancel. To do it this way you 'must' untick the box in CloneDVD which says something like "Delete files after successful copy". You dont want to delete the files! After the reading just open Nero and choose "write DVD movie files". Works every time! ;)

I usually burn with Roxio 7.5 Easy Media Creator. I was using Roxio 6 (which worked very good), but 7.5 is one of the best programs for handling various media that I have ever came across. It backs up CDs very good as well. I have heard many good thing about Nero, but the free version of it that came with my DVD drive never did work too good.
