just to tell the ple that have installed teh new 1.33 patch, that the 1.32 no cd works with it as well, weel it does for me any way

I thought the actual version is still 1.32! What does this new patch change / improve??? :confused:

A few multiplayer fixes, nothing major!

Anyone actually get a mini image to work with this version? I get wrong DVD with daemon, alcohol and trying various tricks. Strange for a safedisc game.

Why you want a MiniImage? The V1.0 crack works very fine with all versions.

There are 2 mini images on GCW but neither of them work for 1.33 I hadn't actually tried them with earlier versions so I'm not sure if they ever worked. I generally have no problem using mini-images though (I've done the bit about changing permissions in registry, changing the names of the devices etc) but I still get a "wrong DVD message"

I also like mini images more.. in case that crack ends up not working at some point.

Not the FarCry crack !!!

The v1.0 crack works perfectly fine as GLH says.

I've finished the game using the v1.0 crack and with the latest v1.33 patch applied, and at no point in the game does the v1.0 crack 'not work' :)

I'm talking about the off chance there are any future patches. I've seen games where you get a few patches and they're cracked all along, then suddenly whoever was cracking them stops..and everyone is left out in the cold.

So far ALL FarCry updates have never modified the EXE file, meaning the v1.0 crack will work no matter what updates you apply. I also think it's a bit late in the day for this game to suddenly have protected updates when it's perfectly playable as it is, makes no sense unless they plan on an expansion, which I've seen mentioned but not confirmed!

That's nice and all, but I just noticed that none of the cheats or trainers will work though. Does anyone know if there is trainer specifically for the 1.33 update?

EDIT: Nevermind, the cheats are working now... ;)

Anyone know if Ubisoft ever released the quick save patch they promised?

Just a small point for those having problems with mini-images- There are 2 versions (DVD & CD). As GLH states, the main exe file never changes, and as the protection is slightly different for the DVD & CD versions, you need a specific mini-image. Use mine (LeEzEr), & you'll be fine.
I did try to convey this fact in the instruction text with the upload, but it appears to have been overlooked.
