Battlefield 2 1.02 NO-DVD?

Could anybody please create a NO-DVD-CRACK for version 1.02 of Battlefield 2!
Or does there already exist one? Whether on GameCopyWorld.com nor on MegaGames.com I can find a crack!

Please help!

Just use the Mini Image!!! there is no crack

GLH 07-08-2005 12:00

I think it's the same situation like with Total Club Manager 2005. Since there is a well working MiniImage, no new crack will come.

Not worth someone bothering with a no-dvd for the current version with another update so close.
Perhaps someone will release a no-dvd crack for this one.*Prays*

It certainly does, but for some of us the mini-image is too much trouble. I know many people use NO-CD's/Mini-Images because they want to preserve their CD's and not wear them out from constant use in a CD-drive. I can't speak for everyone, but I like using NO-CD's because of the convenience of not having to keep the CD in the drive, and swapping them out when I want to play a different game.

Using a mini-image replaces the incovenience of CD-swapping with the incovenience of having a whole new piece of software, using it to mount an image, and then possibly having to hide the whole setup because of games that detect it. For me it's just too much trouble, and games for games like BF2 I just settle for keeping the DVD in the drive.

Hi, what does it mean by this:

" ... and make sure to use non-default driver names to avoid blacklisting or use Anti-Blaxx v1.16 to avoid the blacklisting problem!"
I have got Alcohol 120% 1.9.2.1705 - should i just upgrade to the latest version and the mini-image will work?

Also, i wanted to ask ... i am about to buy just the CD-KEY off ebay (i dont know if people have seen this), and hence need a copy of the game for myself to install. Is it possible that i can burn a copy off my friends retail DVD (just for the installation, and for future installations), and then ofcourse use the mini-image to play the game (which leads me to my first question above .. what is all that blacklisting stuff and Anti-Blaxx)?

So basically:
1. Will i be able to copy my friends DVD - without any compliactions?
2. Will the mini-image work on my Alcohol 120% version above?
3. What is all that blacklisting stuff - can someone explain in lamen terms?

Thanks .. much appreciated for any responses.

Stawned mate, discussions on buying cd keys and copying your mate's game could get you banned on here. I'm not a mod or anything, just friendly advice. :)
You are supposed to own a copy of any game you enquire about on here.
As for buying a cd key, I think that speaks for itself. Very dodgy ground.

GLH 09-08-2005 01:15

I also seen this CD-Key offers on eBay. It only cost 25€, instead of 44€ for the DVD.
I don't know if this is legally...it looks so.

Sorry, didnt know i was actually doing anything illegal.
As far as i know, the CD Keys are legal, because, the person i am buying it off also offers a photo of the cds and the cd key, and he's already sold about 100+, has a 1000+ points and 99.9% feedback - and anyways if there was any illegal activity/piracy, im pretty sure it would have been reported to ebay and taken off. [Also, i am NOT asking WHERE to buy it from - so i am not discussing cd keys here on the forum, it was just a mere fact]

Besides that, if i am still wrong or not abiding by these forum rules, by all means, MODS please warn me - thanks.

As for copying my mate's DVD, if it is illegal (don't think so, but anyways), can i rephrase the question?
Say i buy the BF2 DVD, is it possible to back it up, so that incase my original messes up and in the future i need to reinstall the game, would the backed up version able me to install the game? (BTW, is there any complications in backing up this DVD, or i can just use NERO?) - remember, just for installation, not for playing (which will require mini-image)!

Also could i get some discussion on these questions below:

Thanks a lot.
Sorry i am new at this forum so do point out if i am carrying on any illegal discussions.

Cheers.

Pretty sure that these keys are legal; several people I know have had copies of HL2 off there, & I know Steam is pretty good on piracy.

On the subject of swapping mini-images, have a look at DaemonScript from the Daemon tools homepage- it will allow you to create a customised shortcut for each game that uses a mini-image so that you never need to swap mini images :D

Basically what they have to do is this, you buy, they pay $10 to kill their account so you can use the cd-key again.

I also used Alcohol 120% for a Image of the Full DVD + no-cd exe successfully :)

hi,

i yust updated my original BF2 Version to 1.02.
(by the way, i do have an original cdkey)

I tested all 3 mini images with alcohol as well as with daemon tools (they are all on the newest version).

but as soon as i want to start the game i get a black screen and then.. like after 3 seconds it pops back to my windows desktop....

why ;)

GLH 16-08-2005 08:53

Is your Windows and all of your drivers UP-2-DATE ???
Do you have installed WinXP ServicePack2 ???
