Help with Stolen...please?
 

O.k., I know there's another thread on this. But, noone has replied to my last post in like 3 months... so, here goes.
I have been unable to find a NOCD of anykind for STOLEN (English version) anywhere. So, i am trying to just use my discs. BUT, once i've fully installed (from original, i don't pirate or download warez), i try to run the game and i get that friggin' dvd/emulation error. Now, thanks to you guys, I've never had to bother with this problem before. But, this time it looks as if i may. I have Nero Burning Rom / Clone CD / and DVDshrink installed on my system. I am sure that one or all of them are interfering. What i do not know is how to disable them without uninstalling them. It tells me to disable. Can anyone help a desperate man? I've heard the game isn't great , but I am still looking forward to playing it! If anyone could help, i would be very grateful. Thank you!

If i remember correctly (Thanx Grumpy) the german version of STOLEN does not have a copy protection (and also no cd-checks).

Please scan the game with PID and tell us what protection it use.

Just disable the virtual drive by CloneCD to keep away the "EmulationSoftware detected"-Error.

O.K., by 'I'm new' I meant that i had never tried doing this before. Which is wierd 'cause i've been posting on and off for 3 friggin' years here. Ah, well. That's just a testament to the Kick-A*S*S job you guys do here!
