Trouble with BLAST

Greetings,

I bought a DVD called BLAST. I always make back-up copies of any DVDs I purchase--that way my orginals don't get all scractched up form being used. Anyway, I can't get the CSS encryption removed. My usual programs just won't do it, and they usually work on anything.
I normally use freeware programs for decrypitng and shrinking the files, and Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 for burning the files to disc. I have been considering purchasing some commercial decryption software for quite some time now. Has anybody else had similar problems with this movie? If so, do you have any suggestions on what to do about it? Also, which commercial software is (in your opinion) the best option? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Gee, thanks.

Don't trip stoner. I know you mean well, but try being high on life for a change...by the way, I've read some of your other posts, and you do seem to be knowledgable on BACKING UP DVDs. If you have any advice on BACKING UP THIS DVD, I would appreciate it.
If anybody has any suggestions on BACKING UP the movie BLAST and/or some advice on which commercial software is the best to purchase, it would be greatly appreciated. I've heard a lot about Any DVD, Clone DVD2, and VobBlanker, but more feedback would be nice. And please, no advice on self-medication. THIS IS A DVD-BACKUP FORUM.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...

I've had several local people (at a local computer repair shop) tell me that AnyDVD should work as well. I must be doing something wrong. I can't get it to work for me. My apologies to igotta****666 for thinking you were just stoned--experts agree with you! I will give it a try again.

P.S. Is the 21 day trial version of AnyDVD the updated version--I had already tried that, and I can't seem to get it to work.

i used anydvd trial v5111 with dvd decrypter and it read fine. it would not read for me b4 that.

It worked!

OK. I was using an older version that a friend of mine had given to me on a ZIP disc (just to try on the darned movie)--I thought it was the new trial version, but it wasn't. I try to avoid downloading because I only have a 56K dial-up connection. Do you know how long it takes to download anything with dial-up? Anyway, I broke down and downloaded the trial version of AnyDVD v. 5.3.2.1--it worked like a charm! Thanks.
