Haunting Ground import---can't see screen
 

Hi all. I'm trying to play an imported copy of Haunting Ground (PAL) on my PS2, and I'm getting the rapid horizontal scan lines as it loads, after the Playstation 2 words come up. I can just barely make out some words such as "Dual Shock" and some button combinations, and with my previous experience I can only assume that they are instructions on how to set it to the proper mode, so that I can see the screen properly. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do here? Thanks.

it is like this on my pal version,
after playstation 2 logo you should choose your language, just press X for English then you have 3 choices for video mode:
50Hz
60Hz
Progressive mode

press down on your d-pad and press X to select the 60Hz mode.

Also, in addition to the above, you don't mention what chip you're using, but if you're using an Infinity, you could try going into the Manager and forcing PAL60 video mode :)
