DVD Movies freezing at 3/4 of the movie
 

Hi,

I have a problem with my DVD back up of movies. When, I used DVD Shrink in the past. But then the copies that were apparently succesful freezed at 3/4 of the movie. Not all movies did that but it was annoying. I then tried AnyDVD/1st Copy DVD and it still did it. I have a LG DVD Ram and I use DVD-R medias. Any ideas on how I could get rid of this problem?

Hi there,

I use also DVD -R for burning, and make the following Steps:

1.) Use DVD-decrypter to copy the DVD to the hard drive,

2.) then I use normally Clone DVD (but there are various other good programms like pinnacle instant write, DVD copy suite....you name it) to burn the movie to DVD. IMPORTANT: burn the DVD at a low speed approximately 2-2,4x, this because to avoid read errors that occur whenn u burn too fast....

Your probably using cheap media. Some may work while others dont. Updating your firmware to the latest version is a good idea. Either that or get better media or a new burner.
