Creating mini images

Could someone help in telling which is the best program to create mini images from your original cds/dvds plz

So far Alcohol seems to be good at it, but you need a decent drive that will read discs very very well and at slow speed.

Although you can somewhat make good working backups using BlindWrite.

You also can remove the unneeded sectors by the help of an hex editor.

But this is done by trial and error and a lot of hand work. But with this method you have the best effort to create a small mini image.

Safedisc check sectors are found in the first 1-7megs of the alc image you have done.

DVD Images have different format than cds have - method is the same but sectors look different.

Noscript, could you explain to me, how to create Securom Mi with the Hexeditor. Safedisc and Securom MIs are Easy but I wasnt able to create ones for SR.

sry for German ;)

I shortly explained how safedisc and securom work and that you cannot create mini images for alle securom games.

Ok, I understand.

I will have to use Gamejackal.
