Pretty easy backup question BF1942
 

I only have one cd drive, other three pata's are all hard drives. With BF2 coming out I still want to be able to play bf1942 without having to crack it. Too many servers (including mine) check the hash on the exe and mod.dll that are changed with a crack and kick/ban for file mismatch. I want to be able to mount a copy in alcohol120 and play without it being detected. What should I use to backup a safedisc2 disc without it being able to be detected. Thanks.

You will need a cd-burner which is able to do correct EFM-Encoding.
There is a sticky post, in which you will find a link to a cd-burner list, to see if your burner can do it.

How i come to my nickname:
It's "some" years ago (it was released 1993!), i was playing the game Fantasy Empires (http://www.thelegacy.de/Museum/4316/).
I had to invent a name for my character. I pressed a few keys on my keyboard simply coincidentally. The result was "godan lih".
I added "ar" at the end and my new Fantasy Empires character "Godan LiHar" was born. GLH is just the short version of "Godan LiHar".
And until today, because I possess at all no fantasy, I invented so far no new name.

Well it seems as this thread has gone a 'little' OT... I am about to correct that..
