137gb + hd questions
 

Although having a 160gb drive, I have only just worked out how to fix the bios to allow the extra space.

Once I update the BIOS does anyone know how to just format the G:\ partition - correct me if i'm wrong but I think its partition 7.

Or do I have to back up my whole box, format and reinstall.

u dont have a g drive with a 160 gb hdd
u get g after 250+ gb's

Just use an _06 bios instead of an _67 bios.

I'm using the M8 BIOS at the moment and have flashe the chip to except everything that I need.

Do I need to re-format to obtain the remainder of the drive.

Putting a G partition will work if you choose to just format that drive, however, I would not recommend splitting up the space. When your drive becomes full, it will get annoying when you have 1 or 2 gigs on both drives, with a 3 gig game. You will have to re-arrange just about every time you would want to install another game. I know one person who did that, and after filling both partitions, he asked how to just reformat the drive again to have one giant F partition (I had to, since he doesn't know much about the xbox at all).
