GTA San Andreas Fix
Hi,
Does anyone know of a patch fix or Hex edit for GTA San Andreas (Pal) as I cant get it to play from the Hard Drive? Thanks |
Nothing wrong with the PAL retail disc.Plays fine on the hdd.
|
It doesnt load the game it just returns back to the dashboard
|
same problem
I am also returned to the dashboard when trying to play GTA san andreas off the hard drive.
|
IGR / REGION problems.
Try disabling IGR and set the REGION to AUTO |
How do i go about doing that?
|
games that use the clock for auto-saving need the clock to be set correctly to work. Try setting the clock if it is not.
|
I've tried that but it still just returns to the dashboard
|
The RETAIL one works fine off the harddrive. The fix you're talking about is for the Pirate version thats circulating.
Tut tut  |
No im not talking about the pirate version. The games loads fine onto the hard drive but wont play. It just returns to the dashboard
|
I'VE FIXED IT!!!!!!
I've just changed my region to AUTO and restarted the xbox. All works fine now. Thanks for all your help |

Well, I am going to close this topic as the original creater solved the problem.
Somebody mentions one thing about a fault in the pirate version, and all of a sudden it is allowed to be talked about? No. If you have problems with the iso, do not extract it. Simply delete it and create a new backup, as it is probably a faulty iso. If you have the original game, you would not need to extract the iso and send it to your xbox HDD. You would be able to use the original disk and spend half as much time by doing so. If your game cyclops[0], is indeed authentic, then use the original disk to copy to the HDD, not the backup. If it does not work, there is either a scratch on your disk or it is an xbox setting. This game does not require a new patch. Make sure the time is set correctly and delete all files in the x, y, and z directory. If you have are using pal on ntsc, make the setting in evox auto as that should do the trick. |
