Legend of Dragoon Protection Fix question
 

Hi :)

I need to remove the protection fix of Legend of Dragoon NTSC-U version the only patch i see include a PAL/NTSC Selector too. Anyone knows if there's another patch for only the protection don't want/need the selector, or a way to remove it before applying the patch.

Once a protection fix has been applied you cannot remove it.
Re-read your original cd if you want an image without the protection removed.

You sure about that? I thought you could add an undo patch to it.

If you could get them, therefore if you should know of a website that has them then post it.
However I will stick to my first statement as I know that no such 'undo' patches exist.

I guess i've explained my prob badly. I don't want to remove a patch i want to patch Legend Of Dragoon so i can play it on my modded console. But the only protection fix patch i see for NTSC-U version of the game include a +3 Trainer & PAL/NTSC Selector that i don't need i only need the protection fix to be applied. Was asking if there's another protection fix that exist for this game not including that +3 Trainer & PAL/NTSC Selector or if i can remove that part from the existing patch before patching cds.

Go ahead and try the ntsc jap version first, I patched this game years ago so I know a US patch exisited at one point, or just get the whole Protection Fix, +3 Trainer & PAL/NTSC Selector. Who cares if you have to select PAL or NTSC at the startup. It will work, I use that one, and the trainer is nice because money is hard to get.

Thanks for the reply, i guess i'll use the existing Protection Fix, +3 Trainer & PAL/NTSC Selector. Wanted to keep the game as original as possible but anyway.

Dude in most cases they are part of the patch. Just check the undo option in PPF-O-Matic. Otherwise if I had the original SLUS and a patched SLUS I could easily make an undo patch.

I know the protection removal patch existed at one point, I remember seeing it on some sites. But I haven't seen it in a while, so you'll just have to put up with that extra load screen. I used to play this game for hours, so I hardly ever saw the load screen. I wish sony would release a sequel.
